Using Autoclave at high altitude

Autoclaves are programmed to maintain a constant pressure and temperature relationship so that imbalances do not significantly affect sterilization.
Because of the different boiling points at high altitudes, autoclaves designed for use in flat areas may not be able to raise the pressure inside the chamber, resulting in sterilization failures.
